Visitors to new energy husum were particularly interested in innovative solutions for upgrading their existing heating systems in family homes with combined, regenerative heating systems - e.g. gas condensing boilers with integrated solar storage tanks. Also making headway in private homes are decentralised cogeneration plants, i.e. ones that produce both heat and electricity, so that in future they will fully provide houses with electricity, heating and hot water.
